HOW TO GET STARTED
1. Contact Us
Send us an email, fill out our Inspection Request form, or call us at 919-548-4380 to arrange a time and date for the inspection. You should know the residential address, size in square feet, and year the house was built. While not required, we recommended that you plan on attending the inspection so you can meet your inspector and ask questions or point out concerns you have. Typically an inspection takes 3-4 hours and costs start at $300 and go up depending on the size and age of the home. You can view our price list for more details.

3. The Inspection
If you are a home buyer, plan on attending the inspection at the appointed time. For homeowners and home sellers you should take the time to prepare your house before the inspection. An email with suggestions for this will be sent to you when you make the appointment or you can look here for a copy of these suggestions. An inspection typically lasts about 3-6 hours. Make sure to let your inspector know of any issues or concerns you may have about the condition of the house so that he can address these issues with you.
4. Payment
Payment is due at the conclusion of the inspection and can be paid in cash, check, or credit card. Inspection prices vary by the size and age of the house. The larger and older the home the more time is needed for the inspection and writing of the report. You will be quoted the cost of your inspection when you set up your appointment or you can view our price list.
5. Receive Your Report
After your payment is received we will send you a detailed report with pictures and clear comments describing each deficiency found during the inspection. Our reports are emailed to you as a .pdf document or can be accessed on the web with a personal link we will send to you. We strive to deliver your report within 24 hours of the inspection but in some instances it may take longer. However, it should never take longer than three business days. KO Home Inspections is there to assist you even after the inspection is over. Call or write to us if you have any questions about your inspection or report.
